بعد أن رفض والد الفتاة البريطانية " بيجى فراير"زواج ابنته بالشاب " بيل لابرام" الذى تقدم
لخطبتها منذ 63 عاما نجحا أخيرا فى الالتقاء ليتزوجا بعد أن بلغ الثمانين من العمر.
وتبدأ قصة البريطانيين اللذان يستعدان للزواج فى الوقت الحالى الى عام 1947م.

أغلى حادث سير في العالم سببه شقراء..بالصور
شهدت مدينة مونت كارلو الشهيرة أغلى حادثة في العالم على الإطلاق، عندما اصطدمت سيارة فتاة شقراء بخمس من أغلى سيارات العالم بما فيها سيارتها، فتسببت في إهدار ثروة تقدر بما يزيد عن 700 ألف جنيه إسترليني على مرأى العديد من المارة الذين وقفوا مشدوهين بما حدث.
ولسوء حظها كانت قد اصطدمت سيارتها البنتلي أزور والتي يبلغ ثمنها ربع مليون جنيه إسترليني بسيارة مرسيدس إس كلاس والتي يقدر ثمنها بـ 75000 جنيه إسترليني، فخدش جانبها السفلي لتصدم واجهة فيرايري F430 سوداء يبلغ ثمنها 143000 جنيه إسترليني، وأستون مارتن رابيد ثمنها 150 ألف جنيه إسترليني، وسيارة بورش 911 تقدر قيمتها بـ 80 ألف جنيه إسترليني.
ووجدت الشقراء التعيسة نفسها في موقف محرج وكذلك صديقتاها اللتان كانتا معها في السيارة عندما تجمع حولهن المارة والسياح ولم يستطعن الخروج من السيارة بسبب انحشار أبواب السيارة، وقدرت خسائر الحادثة بما يزيد عن 40 ألف جنيه إسترليني.
من نعم الله علينا أننا لا نستطيع بأعيننا المجردة ملاحظات التفاصيل فائقة الصغر، لأن لو كان بإمكاننا ذلك لما سَرّنا ما سنشاهد أبداً!:

كانت هذه الصورة وغيرها من الصور التي سنشاهدها في هذا الموضوع جزءاً من مسابقة "عالم صغير" التي تقيمها نيكون كل عام للتصوير الميكروسكوبي، والتي تأتي هذا العام بدورتها السابقة والثلاثين بمشاركة أكثر من 2,000 مصور من كل أنحاء العالم.
وتحت عنوان "الحياة داخل قطرة ماء" كشفت نيكون عن عدة مشاركات رائعة سنرى بعضها في هذا الموضوع لنرى أي عالم مدهش يوجد حولنا ولا نستطيع رؤيته:

كتب عملاقة وسياج زمردي وأرضية تشبه لعبة الشطرنج!!.. إنها بلاد العجائب لكن ليست لأليس بل لزوار أحد المطاعم في طوكيو!
حيث كشفت أحد المكاتب المعمارية عن هذه الصور لسلسلة مطاعم جديدة في اليابان، وفيها استخدمت الشركة رواية "أليس في بلاد العجائب" الشهيرة لبناء ديكور المطعم!
يمتد هذا المطعم على مساحة 2,000 قدم مربع وفيه يستقبل الزائر كتب عملاقة وأرضية تشبه رقعة الشطرنج، وما أن يتعمق أكثر داخل المطعم حتى يجد مرايا عملاقة وسياج فيروزي يشبه الحشائش الضخمة وغيرها من المشاهد التي رسمها لويس كارول في روايته الشهيرة أليس في بلاد العجائب.
قام مكتب التصميم المعماري Fantastic Design Works بتصميم هذا المطعم باستخدام معايير صديقة للبيئة، فاستخدموا مواد معاد تصنيعها في بناء الديكور واستخدموا طلاءاً يحتوي نسبة منخفضة من الفورمالديهايد حتى ينعم الزوار بهواء صحي.

انتشر الخبر منذ ساعات في العالم بأسره بعد أن بدأ نعيه من رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بنفسه، ليتشارك العالم كله عبر شبكة الإنترنت الحزن على فقدان هذا الرجل الذي ساهم في تغيير حياة الملايين!
بدأ جوبز شركته من جراج السيارات في منزله، فأثبت لنا أن تغيير العالم لا يحتاج إلى جيوش ولا إلى دول بل يحتاج فقط وفقط إلى إنسان يؤمن بأنه يستطيع!
